When I came out to my spouse a couple years ago at her request I promised I would not go out in public. I admit I have cheated a few times by going to places or running errands that didn't require me to interact with anyone. But more and more I am having the urge to be out more and be seen in public. Soooo, last night we had the tough discussion about me going public. After much talk and many tears we have set new boundaries. She doesn't want to be seen together with me en femme so no dinner dates, but I may go out en femme by myself - shopping, groceries, and other everydayness kind of things. I feel so blessed to have such an understanding and loving spouse. Tonight is my first public adventure as I am attending an LGBT support group meeting dressed up.

O h Dayle how nice! I have a ts friend and will be having fem time with her soon if all goes well. We chat by phone and text half dozen times a week now.
Congrats Dayle on adventuring out and your newly negotiated boundaries! Try to do something really special for your wife as a thanks for her willingness to expand your horizons!
