Waves crashing, on the shore,
Looking out, my back door.
Fishing boats, are in the sum,
Catching fish one by one
The children playing, in the sand
With pales and buckets, in their hands
The surfer"s are out as well
Trying to catch that big swell
Pack some snags, and a picnic lunch
And dont forget to take some punch
Take some games for you to play
So you can go and enjoy you day
i like it! descriptive-makes me eel like i'm there!
A lovely poem Star, it paints a beautiful picture xxx
Sally
I read this and am saddened, you describe a scene from my back door.....without the surfers, I lived on the bay.
Thank you for this gift.....almost a memory from another eye!!!
