Profile edits aren't saving

Thanks for the bug report. I'll take a look at this.
Would your profile pic just disappear once you'd uploaded it? Or were there any warnings on the page?

Thanks for helping to make it better, we're still trying to get a few of the bugs out 🙂

Vanessa, I didn't have any problems with the profile pics but like Lindsay typed in quite a bit of information in several sections, about yourself, when did you realize you were transgender, date of birth, how you see yourself (MTF). Went to save and it was all gone. Just tried again this morning the birthday and still it is not working.

I am using IE11 for the PC.

Thanks for a great site and the possibility of something truly special out here on the web. Can't wait to see what happens when all the bugs are worked out.

I fiddled with a few things that should fix this. Let me know if you're still seeing issues saving photos or profile edits.

I've been playing around trying to get everything working just right, and sometimes it's two steps forward one step back 🙂

Yeah I think it fixed it for me, too. Upon logging in today, all of the text of entered in my profile reappeared (meaning it actually saved the first time but wasn't showing). And I just changed my profile pic without issue. Nice work Vanessa!

No joy with the updates working here, Vanessa.
Updated my avatar photo, cover pic, birthday, and gender, all in one go, then clicked save.
Avatar pic, 512x512 JPG, 196kb. Was able to upload that without it being cropped. Edit saved.
Cover pic, 1280x626 JPG, 377kb. Uploaded, had to be cropped vertically. 626 pixels is too tall. Did not save.
Birthday and gender, did not save.

My initial profile went in fine, but when I tried to add a cover pic, it will show up after I add it, then be missing the next time I go to my profile page.

Profile edit problem is worse than what has been described.

As I didn't, yet, have a saved cover pic uploaded, when I viewed my main Profile page, I could upload a cover pic there, and get it to stick.
As soon as I went to my Edit Profile page, my successfully uploaded and saved cover pic was removed.
Attempting to edit Country, to see if it is a case of only being able to edit and save one change at a time, the edit was not saved.

I tried another way to fix it. Can you clear your browser cache and restart your browser, and let me know if you're still seeing issues like this?

In another thread I reported an issue with my cover photo not sticking. The still exists event though I've tried other files, different sizes, etc. But I just now learned that almost all of my profile edits are gone too.
My profile "completeness" seems quite high but only my avatar, first name, last name and join date are appearing.
"Tell us a bit about yourself", My Transgender Journey, How did you first realize your were transgender?, location info and social media accounts are all blank now.
