It is the essentially the norm here in CDH that words of encouragement and positive feedback are the overwhelming great vibes being shared from member to member. Everyone please be conscious of the fact that even though most of us are on the same road, the pace at which each of us as individuals proceed and the ultimate goal differs from person to person. It is one thing to give a kind nudge to add a "real" photo on the site as opposed to an avatar, but some may not be ready to take that step. I for one would have never imagined in a million years posting a real photo of Kelci on a public site this time last year. Additionally, I some times hear discussions of how far a girl has gone in public rather if it is a walk around the block or a visit to a crowded mall en femme. In due time if the individual feels comfortable in doing so then great. But by the same token no one should ever be made to feel less of a woman or shamed for not meeting the goals and standards of others and the steps they have chosen to make. MY feeling is that we are all in this journey together and instead of pushing others to a zone they may not be comfortable in, provide gentle encouragement and words of kindness as those are two excellent gateways for others to feel a sense of self-pride and potentially lead to a level of confidence which will create a more natural feeling if and when they decide to make themselves more public.
I agree if you asked me last year if I would Post my feminized face on the internet I would probably have not. I did find this great site CDH and found a home for me to express my femine side. When members are ready I am sure they will proudly post a great picture.
