I am 59 years old and crossdressed starting at about age 8 until maybe age 30 (1985). Life changed and I felt I could purge and didn't need to dress any more. Got married, and after a while the feeling of wanting to crossdress came back. I never followed up on it until I separated from my wife a few months ago. (Never wore her stuff.) Crossdressing was not a reason for separating, but now that I am separated and living on my own I can pick it up again.

Exploring the internet let me find out a whole lot more about crossdressing, and online shopping made things easy to buy. (Not being in the US or UK is a pain with shipping, etc.) I have even started shopping in person for femme clothes and accessories and makeup while in drab. Shopping for shoes size 12W with a high arch seems only available on-line. What do larger GGs do?

Today was my first time ever to go outside and into some stores en femme. There were no obvious "reads" or any problems or comments. I really enjoyed it, although there were some nerves.

I have mild Aspergers Syndrome, which for me mostly means I have some trouble understanding other people by instinct. I have had to learn lots of rules and guidelines to try to fit in. On the other hand, I sometimes do things because I don't know the neurotypicals wouldn't do that. Such as crossdressing - I think it might not be as scary for me because I know no better, ha! And learning a role is something I have done all my life.

HI Sarah.

Good to hear you chime in. Sorry to hear about your separation. CD or not it's  still a hard time to cope with.

Sounds like the asperger's isn't  a limiting  factor.

Read the terrific threads and chime in.

We all have something  to learn from one another.

Claudia
