I am looking for some help. I am exploring shaving in order to present a more feminine image. I am having no trouble with legs (something I had done for years when I was swimming competitively). My underarms are, however, a different question. I am having difficult getting as close as a shave as I want. I am looking to stay with a razor (I like and use a venus.), but any advice would be helpful.

I use the Gillette Fusion Razor. It's a mans razor but all I care about is getting rid of the hair. I get a smooth shave from that. Thought about going to a ladies razor but it just don't make sense since they both do the same thing
Oh and I just use my shower gel instead of shaving cream. I've found that it works for a smoother shave than using shaving cream - I've also used skintimate but found the shower gel works better (bath and body works shower gel)
I use either a Venus or a Gillette for underarms and fine trim of other areas. I epilate arms, legs, chest and tummy so there's usually very little to shave, other than the face, of course.
Thanx, Darcy,
I didn't think that shaving gel would make that much of a difference. I have shaving in shaving my beard in the shower or using only a dry razor since I was in high school. As I always got a close shave on the face, I didn't realize how much gel would help with the underarms. I used my wife's shaving gel this morning and couldn't be happier. I am planning to redo my legs with it this afternoon and can't wait to see the difference.

I have had laser on the face, chest, belly, back, hands. After 16 treatments all colored hair is gone.To get the greys still coming in I use the "no no". It works but takes time and patience. For the legs and areas south I used the "no no" and the hair is almost gone.Touch ups in between are done with shower gel and the venus 5 blade razor. For touch ups on the grey on the back I use hair removal cream and put it on/off with a back brush. I love the smooth feeling, however my wife of 35 years hates the lack of hair and and it having difficulties accepting the crossdressing; it has strained our intimate relationship but I need to be true to myself.
Women in general(my wife included) seem to forget that they trespass daily into the male world:tattoos, boy shorts, wearing of pants, mens suit jackets, men's sneakers for those with feet over size 10, ect. So why is it so terrible if one removes the hair and wears the clothing.
How is a tattoo mens world?
