I applaud you're loving respect of your SO and not wanting to put that person in an awkward situation.  I really hope they are able to accept you as you are and grow to be encouraging and supportive to you.  I with there were some way to guarantee that but unfortunately we can never control what someone else thinks, feels, or does.  Good luck.

I know how you feel honey. I have to be careful when I shop with my wife depending on her mood. She says that sometimes it is "too much". I know it is rough but be patient. Some women go thru an emotional roller-coaster about our dressing. Keep posting your experiences. That is what CDHeaven is for.

We went shopping yesterday, clothes for holiday next week. Lots of wandering around women’s clothing in department stores. I saw several dresses that I would have loved to have picked up but my so is not ready for it.

Towards the end of the trip she did ask if I wanted to buy something but there was definite reluctance behind the question so I let it go.

I saw one lacy black dress that was to die for but it just didn’t feel right to push for it. I want her to enjoy Krisy but it’s still a struggle for her. It’s so hard to be patient but I know I have to be…..arghhh…..
