Is wearing a slip under a suit or shirt or whatever male clothing one might don, the same as wearing a dress?
Is wearing that slip around the house the same as saying I've worn a dress? Or does semantics let me off?
What are your thoughts?
Wearing a slip on its own, around the house, is not the same as wearing a dress.
A slip is meant to be worn under clothing.
A dress is not.
Wearing a slip under male clothing whilst do-able, is uncomfortably awkward due to how you have to bunch the bottom of the slip for it to fit in pants.
You'd be better off wearing a camisole and panties instead, in that instance.
I do both depending on the day. But cheers for the advice.
Hello!!!
I must say i never wear slip.
Normally i use dresses or night gowns.
As i must wear boy clothes to work, underneath i use thongs or g steings and hoses or tights.
When i have the opportunity i wear jeans tight shoetts with hose.
But now maybe ill buy one slip to try.
Kisses

Hi,
A slip or petticoat, To be worn under a skirt or dress,
one reason the skirt or dress is a see through and needs a slip or petticoat so your body is not seen by others, it is not a garment to be worn by its self and was not intended to be so ,
I have a number of skirts and dress.s that need a slip or petticoat , for Ball,s or other do,s,
I do sometimes wear a lighter skirt under my main one to give a longer look or as we say the dress needs a skirt at the bottom ,
So if my skirts are short or dress I will sew a skirt around the bottom ,or a panel to lengthen,
