Hi,
I'm Stephanie from San Diego, CA. I've been cross dressing since I was 16. My wife, one of her girl friends, my sister, and my mom know about my cross dressing. I've recently been able to convince my wife of 30 years to be more accepting. I'm not yet ready to venture out in public, because I need to master a lot of techniques before doing so. So far all I have are clothes, some underwear, hosiery, and shoes which I have purchased or had my wife purchase for me over the last 35 years. I have no wigs, bras, makeup, or jewelry. These are things I'm going to purchase, but being long term unemployed and possibly forced into early retirement limits the rate at which I can purchase things for Stephanie.
I have no desire to physically change my male body. I consider myself a cross dresser and have no desire to transition to female.
I am a geek. I worked as an electronics engineer for most of my career. Since being unemployed, I'm in to designing my own electronics and code for various projects github.
I also like to recondition old pro audio equipment, and earlier in my life I ran a DJ company before getting my degree.
Stephanie likes soft dresses and blouses, denim skirts, strappy mid heel sandals.
Relaxation, and a feeling of peace tranquility are the main attraction to cross dressing.

I loved reading your intro and I must say, you are indeed fortunate to have a wife who is accepting.

I am new to CD heaven also but so far it seems like a great site. I am also a CD with no desire to transition I am also from San Diego, married 30+ yrs and an engineer. There use to be a group here, Neutral Corner that was relatively popular I use to go all the time but over the years that has fallen off, haven't been in at least 5 yrs but I still get out to some of the local bars and any where I pretty my want. I will say I'm in the closet, wife knows but isn't thrilled with my hobby, so it is DADT. While I am in the closet for practical purposes the closet door is open. If I get found out so what.

It was DADT between me and my wife until very recently when I reopened the discussion. It was a bit of rough ride for a few days, but she finally told me it was OK to dress in the house. I just felt I needed to put things right so I could start to feel better as a person.
I have yet to go out in public because I can't pass without mastering a few techniques, and spending money which is a scarce resource at the moment.
As for a meetup, I'm open to that. I'm in the La Mesa part of San Diego County.
Perfect! Your a good candidate for being a Male Maid! Your wife will love you for it. Nothing is more fulfilling as being my wife's sissy maid. It is just an intimate thing between you and your wife. If anybody else knows, then that is up to your wife. When I could dress up (years ago) it was really wonderful to pamper and obey as my wife directed. Our intimate times were that much more, well...intimate!
