I am lucky enough to work away from home, and in my trips away, I started to chat to a guy who liked to try on his wife's clothes when she was out, and that led me to start buying underwear to try on in my hotel room.
Then I found a shop that sold women's clothes at low prices, and decided to go further, so in one mad evening I bought a grey cotton dress and grey ankle boots with a bit of heel, and a body so I could chnage my body shape a little - handkerchiefs to pad out the bra cups, and my waist pulled in a little. After trying on my new outfit in my room, and enjoying walking round in the heels, I put on a denim jacket and gingerly went out of my hotel room onto the deserted corridor, but I was known in the hotel so I couldn't go out past reception, so on my next visit I chose a different hotel where I wasn't known, dressed up in the grey dress, grey boots, black tights, black lace knickers borrowed from my wife, black body stuffed with hankies, and a denim jacket and neck scarf. A bit of makeup - foundation, blusher and lipstick.
Out of my hotel room, down the stairs (not ready for the lift yet) and out past reception. Just a five minute walk at 1100 at night in central Paris, nobody seemed to notice me particularly, and what a buzz walking out en femme.
I had a similar experience at a motel my first time out. It was exhilarating!
About 5 years ago I spent a week lonng business trip dressing in my room. didn't go out except on the balcony but it was one of the best most exciting weeks i've ever had!
This is great Helen, love hearing of success stories. Got homesick when I read Lift & Knickers!"
The first time I ventured out of the privacy of my home I was wearing a cute little skirt and when I stepped outside I was amazed by the feeling of the soft warm breeze blowing up under my skirt.
I hadn't even thought about it until it happened to me how good that it feels
Also the sound that my heels make when I'm walking on a sidewalk made me feel so feminine
