the storm
thunder lightning pouring rain
rushing water down the drain
howling winds and fallen trees
run for cover and hurry please
power lines so watch your step
take a rain coat and dont get wet
thunder crashes lightning strikes
rescue teams they do save lives
flash flooding and flying debris
pelting hail and a very strong breeze
so be careful when you roam
and make your way safely home

I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to copy & paste this poem, and share it with my Fire Department.
This poem touched me differently than most, I can see everyone running to their safety place, and us running the other way.
