I saw something on line that struck me today and I decided to write about it. It said “True friends are the ones who have nice things to say about you behind your back.” As I thought about that, I realized the truth in its words. While it is nice to tell someone to their face how much you appreciate them, it is also good to sing their praises to others when they are not around so that others can learn how cool they are.
So in keeping with that I thought it would be cool to start a forum topic where we could each reply to it with a short bit about one(or more) of our friends and why they are such a neat person. Who knows-maybe it can bring us all closer together and build networks of friends. So add your own reply to this topic by hitting reply and then telling us about YOUR friend! Let’s see how many of our members we can get to know better!

So I will reply first with a little about my friend, Krystal. She is young (early 20’s), from the Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati, and in the beginning stages of transitioning. She likes to fish and to show off her ride (a 350Z that she enjoys pushing to its limits!). As anyone who visits the CDH chatroom in the evenings US East coast time knows, she is gorgeous and pulls off “casual girl” better than anyone I know! But more importantly, her inner beauty far outshines her outer appearance. I feel blessed to be considered her friend and often joke that she and I are twins separated by 28 years! She is a wonderful person who genuinely cares for each and every one of our CDH members. Thanks @krystal94 for being you!
I would like to say that Miss Jenny (MJ) is my friend on CDH that first embraced me as a new member, and gave me some good advice when I was making some very bad choices at the time. Thankyou MJ, you are a very special friend!
I am blessed to have many to choose from my best friends who I have know 35 and 20 years to old co-workers I am still in contact with to old high school friends who I still hang out with ) to my Ambassador Team (though some may say thing behind my back) to the most obvious my best friend and partner for life my wife.
But I am going to pick ladies two actually both I have term of true endearment for First is the woman who has know Codille the longest my friend Cindi who I worked with many years ago now but it still one of my closest friends, she was once called by my wife my "Work Wife" because it took her and Cindi's combined efforts to keep me in line. Now she is La Padrona, which in Italian means wife/mistress. I one day called her out on being gay because I could tell it was so obvious, she went white as a sheet and asked me how I knew, I just did...Then I turned around and shocked her again by telling her I was CD, the first person I every told other than my wife. We have laughed and cried together raise 5 kids between the 3 of us together and she would do anything for me and I her.
Second, is someone if you have been around for any time know. Ambassador Denise or as I call her, My Lady. I think about 7 years ago I was wasting time on Facebook playing a game called Knighthood. I had risen in ranks and got traded, to Denise who was quite a few ranks higher then me. When she sent her letter of introduction, she asked very politely if I would have any issues being under a transgender liege. I responded no, why? She explained and said she was glad I was ok with it. I then sent her a note telling her why I had no issues with the situation as I was CD, the third person to know. We know each others family's, we have cheer each others success and help each other through some very rough times. I love her dearly and know that if push came to shove if either of us ever needed anything we would be there emotionally to support the other.
La Padrona and My Lady, I love you both and thank you for being part of my life and my families life!!!

Codille......wow.....you make my cheeks hurt from smiling so hard.....with a tear running down my cheek from your kind words. Thank You is never simply enough! We have helped each other over the years through many issues for sure.....and yes, you have helped me more than I think I've helped you....thank you again my friend. We have a long time (only 7 years?) friendship that has blossomed to a tight bond that will never fully break.....it may crack at times, but that's gonna happen with two strong willed, stubborn friends, sharing opinion but more importantly, truth with each other. We have that bond.....it can never be broken, only strengthened. Now it seems to me that you were not simply "traded" to me years ago.......but as I recall you ~tried~ to attack and conquer me in combat........and once you realized that was not possible you exercised that lump above your shoulders and realized that old adage of "if you can't beat them might as well join them".........ever since then, we have both become a force that can not be reckoned with. I'll forever be happy to have you at my side (grand Pooh-baah now or not-lol), knowing that we'll have each others back no matter what. Much love, admiration, respect, to you and yours my friend. 🙂
This is a very hard question to answer.....as a firefighter I have to literally put my life in the hands of others very often.....the term friend takes on a completely different meaning....
But, if i really had to choose, I would have to say it was either Jessie, or Marie Lynn who I derived my name from... they nurtured my female side so much....stood by me, and kept my "secret" til death......
If I was picking a friend from CDH, it would have to be Joanna R...she was one of the first that I chatted with in our community, I laughed with her, cried with her, battled trolls with her....& cried like a school girl when she left the community.
Of course in typical irish fashion, ye can't shut me up....I truly adore everyone I've met in our community!

After reading several stories of true friend I must say Your all Lucky ! The part I say your all lucky is that it seems that some of the Cross dressers I have gotten to know say your friend and then they disappear off the map and sometimes when in a chat room on another site they act like they never knew you or avoid you like a plague. These are not the True friends
A true friend is someone that trust and indulges it intelligent communications. And will open up to to you regardless of the circumstances. I, think it is a blessing in these trouble times to have a True Friend and if you do your Very Lucky.

What a nice idea. I'd like to thank you Cyn for being my first friend on here. It seems like so many of the girls are friendly and have been doing this for a long time. I Think you are all so courageous. You all make my day so much nicer.
