I am trying to work up the courage to go out in public. In thinking about and searching the web for safe places to go I discovered an LGBT center called FreeToBeMe. I've been there a couple times now and find them to be absolutely wonderful. They are non-judgmental, open and supportive. They have support group meetings on weekends, counselors, luncheons, social activities..., and best of all the receptionist thinks I am beautiful. Hopefully there is a FreeToBe center in your area also.
