I had the most amazing day today. I was home sick and decided I needed to get out of the house. I decided to wear some lingerie and fishnets under my boy clothes and go try to find some shoes. I was really nervous at the first two stores, and none of them had anything over a size 10. I thought I was going to be a size 13. So I Went to payless shoes and low and behold the had a variety. I tried to be inconspicuous and slipped on a pair of 13w heels as quickly as I could so no one would notice but a sales girl walked around the corner. I was mortified at first, but she just asked if I needed any help. I told myself screw it and started asking her advice, I admitted they were for me and she was totally nice and accepting. I tried on several different styles and found out I am a 11w YAY ME!!! much more selection. Well, I ended up buying the shoes you see in my avatar. I LOVE THEM!!!!!
Afterward with my new found confidence I went next door to Walmart and shopped some more. I picked up a couple of pairs of panties and a new dress and stockings. It was amazing no one seemed to care what I was doing and it was quite liberating. all in all a fantastic day.

Exhilirating, liberating, empowering isn't it? I just popped into an Avenue store first thing in the morning when on a business trip and only 3 store workers were there. I told one of them I wanted a nice flowy dress before they were all gone. Before I knew it all 3 of them were helping find different styles, lengths and even invited me to come out of the dressing room for their opinions - was the most fun I have ever had shopping (though they understood I like my beard and have no intention of shaving it, they did suggest I shave my shoulders and pits or at least wear a cardigan).
