Why are most things so expensive to be the woman you were supposed to be at birth? Trust me I did not want this body form and all the stupid hair that came with it. I would have loved to have been born with normal breasts or the lower parts but in order to be that which I was cheated out of, it costs and not cheaply. I can see how upsetting it can be for those with a limited income, to try to be themselves, to enjoy the beauty of being a woman.
This is also true for F/M for they have the same issues also. Nothing is cheap anymore, I understand that but sometimes I feel as if our transformation communities are being treated unfairly and unjustly. There was a prisoner about five years ago who petitioned the courts to allow him to under go surgery to become a transgender female. After all the prodigals were met and he was granted the surgery the Courts stated that it was against the law to discriminant against him and his constitutional rights. The thing is, the state paid for it, completely.
So many of us are denied the freedom to choose counseling or hormone treatments due to cost, for many because of limited incomes. I wish I had the answers but I don’t for I am one of those whose income is limited monthly. Maybe writing our government could help or the insurance companies, I don’t know but I do know that so many F/M, M/F are out there and are discouraged and feel so alone.
Rymi don't hold your breath on the government or insurance companies
doing anything. Greed and profit motivate them. Sadly.
All we can do is support each other here and on other safe sites around
the internet. No one should feel alone.
Hugs,
Samantha
