So, something my wife and I have not done for a long time is spend time away without kids and the pressure of our business.
Also if you read my previous, recent post I have only truly come out to my SO of my full CD as Sally.
I booked a luxury, secluded B&B in the Australian Outback for her 50th birthday, for 4 days. It had all the luxury items and a huge Hot Tub. The first day was her actual Birthday so I did not bring Sally out, as I felt that would be disrespectful. After a beautiful meal and an amazing night we woke up the next day and decided to do some tourist things around a small town. It was the first time she saw me put stockings on under my jeans before going out, I was not going to hide it. We had a great morning together and then after lunch, she said let’s go back to the cabin and dress up. OMG my heart jumped. It took me over 2 hours to do makeup, apply breast forms and select a tight fitting dress. I made every effort to look good. It paid off., she was amazed at how good I looked, in fact she was concerned I looked more feminine than her and she had a few tears. I felt really bad at first and she was really worried, my wife is very attractive too, so lots of reassurances to make her realise I am only interested in her only. No one else has ever seen me as Sally and no one else will, unless she wants me to.
The afternoon was made easier with champagne and she noticed how much more we were talking and talking and talking. Girly stuff, it was great. We played board games, danced, laughed, called each other b$&ch ( in a joking fashion) and had a fabulous afternoon. The night finished up, in her own words sharing it with her lesbian lover and both of us have only ever been with each other since 19 years old, so this was new territory for us both. I will leave the rest to your imaginations.
The next day, once again back to town for breakfast and lunch, oh and to buy me some nail polish (wow - she picked the colour) and hairspray and then we both could not wait to get back to the B&B. This time my beautiful SO showed me how to paint my nails, do makeup, lend me her earrings and she told me not to wear a wig as my hair could easily pass for female done correctly. OMG, she was so right. We took a photo of me and used the FaceApp gender filter to see if it would alter me. The only thing it did was give me longer hair. She has helped me achieve something I always wanted, to pass as female.
That night we placed a rug outside and looked up at the milkyway. So cool, no one else around for kms, I felt amazing.
The following days were a combination of drab, when we went out to the country town and then dressing up back at the B&B. We shared clothes and by the end of the weekend, we were so comfortable with the new person - Sally.
I will never forget this weekend, we are going to arrange so many more now and do a make up session together.
Finally, the SO likes Sally as she is soooooo much better at relaxing, talking girly stuff and not making her go hiking, cycling and general adventure stuff when I am my mere male self.
Life is awesome.

Sounds like you both enjoyed an amazing four day getaway.

Bit jealous. Here in NSW we are all in lockdown, and can't leave our LGA. Yet alone go away for a weekend.
What an amazing time away with your SO a dream to be able to do this, as we are still in lock down #6 in Vic
Thank you for sharing

Congratulations Sally for the awesome time you shared together and also successfully nurturing a 31 year relationship since you were 19 years old.
Fabulous story, Sally, thank you for sharing. So happy for you and your wife! I can’t imagine the pride, acceptance & connection you must have felt.
Being with someone since a young age and going through all of ups and downs in a normal relationship is a rollercoaster but knowing that you have such an incredibly supportive partner in life, no matter who you are or how you express yourself is what we all hope for.
