Hey all, I'm looking for bikini bottom suggestions. I'm not looking for a thong or string bikini, just a normal, low rise suit, that is stretchy enough to accommodate our extra gear down there.
I have no clue what type of material to look for that's stretchy, so am hoping to get some recommendations.
Thanks!
I wear bikini bottoms when on vacation . I have some high waisted ones and some regular ones which are quite skimpy but not the string type.
Fortunately im quite small down below so don’t have to size up to accommodate my genitals.
I think I bought all mine from high street stores here in the UK. You don’t have to spend a lot and I have various patterns and colours which I can pair with a tankini top and some nice flip flops
I would recommend Swimsuits4All and Swim Outlet. Both are online retailers that I have used in the past. Swim Oulet is more for competive swimwear, but does offer bikini bottoms. Swimsuits4All has more fashoionable swimwear.

I have had good luck with the major brands like Roxy, Quicksilver, Rip Curl, or Patagonia. The active wear companies tend to make somewhat more practical swimwear. Function is as, or more important than fashion. They tend to be reasonably true to size meaning I wear a medium panty and a medium bikini bottom. The secret for me is choosing panties or bottoms that have a stretcy front panel, and I have bought enough panties and bikinis to pretty much just eye the front panel to know how it will fit. That said, I still try and buy my bikinis in store so I can try them on.
I am due to retire my favorite black Rip Curl bikini, so I will likely be shopping for a new one soon.
Trying on bikinis is half the fun. I have never had an issue here, in fact the last bikini I bought the SA was super helpful.
Hi Dani, I regularly wear a bikini during the summer and occasionally wear a full one piece suit too. On hot days I will start my day in a bikini and then after breakfast change to my jeans and work shirt or tee. I modify almost all of my swimsuits for better fit and you can see how I do it if you search for my old article called Swimsuit Perfection that's here on CDH. The biggest problem that I've found is what you identified and that being coverage and fit in the netherworld body parts. I do create a fold in my suit bottoms to provide a wider gusset and solve that problem but I've also found that a size medium in the regular bikini bottom from HAPARI works well for me without modification. It seems that they have wider and stretchier material in their suit bottoms. I have a brown bottom and a black bottom that I got from them and will just throw one on with a tropical print bikini top and feel like I'm well secured and styled for life in the public. Sometimes I will also wear a small gaff too, but most of the time I wear just the suit without a gaff. You can see pics of me in my swimsuits and bikini in my article and public pics. I never have any problems wearing my swimsuits in public and just go about my business. I hope that helps. Marg
Speaking of trying bikinis on, I was in Heathrow about to leave London and had a few pounds burning a whole in my pocket. No point bring home foriegn currency, and the airport exchanges are not favorable, so I went shopping. I found a really cute bikini with tigers on it so asked if I could try it on. The SA said of course and made it sound like I asked a silly question. It turned out to fit nicely, so I bought it for almost the exact amount of pounds in my pocket and the SA was sweet and chatty and asked how it fit and how I liked it, etc, just a normal conversation one would have about anything purchase.
As I was leaving I remembered I had my Oyster(?) card with about 10 pounds left on it, so I asked if she rode the tube, which being a Londoner she did, so I gave her the card as a thank you for her wonderful attitude.
Once you just admit that you are shopping for a dress, bikini, lingerie, or whatever for yourself SAs seem to just put a little or a lot of extra effort into helping. I hope every time the SA rode the tube on my card reminder her of the happy customer with a new tiget themed bikini.
I will definitely give you a very sincere and constructive opinion, unless you’re a natural woman with a very nice curvy shape, you should stay away from bikinis. I have seen some of the gurls that have a nice figure, it’s fine but it doesn’t look good, again this is my opinion, best of luck.
There is a company called En Femme(web address is enfemmestyle.com), and they make clothing and accessories for crossdressers/trans women.
They have a swimwear section and they offer several styles of tucking bikini bottoms. I have purchased their gaffs before and they have worked well for me, so as I was thinking about swimwear at the time, I decided to give the bikini bottom a whirl.
Although it held the "goods" in place nicely, a bikini style suit did not work for me, as my curves, even though I have them, are simply not pronounced as a natural woman and I did not like the way the bikini looked on me.
Thought I'd mention the website though as an option for you, perhaps you will have better luck than me.

There is some nice swimwear there...I may have to try something.
