- How often do you go out dressed up And were you instantly hooked after going out first time
only once in full Anna mode and it was amazing. A couple of times when I've still had makeup on and slipped a pair of jeans and a hoodie over the dress and tights
Most weeks, I'm Cerys from Thursday morning to Sunday evening, and everything that needs to be done, is done as Cerys. Saying that, Cerys has been a bit absent in recent weeks, maybe only going out to play on Saturday. Sometimes, it's too much hassle to shave and do my face.... I'll dress as Cerys, but not go out. When I go out I try to look the part, so it's hair and make up.... I still don't look the part, but it helps from a distance 🙂

Like Emily, as an intersex trans woman, I'm out each and every day, and the joy of being able to do so is definitely still there!
My first time was truly breathtaking and life changing moment, I had never before experienced such peace while wearing clothing, as I did that day!
Hugs everyone,

Hi Monique, Well, I've been out and open for years but when you say dressed up, I interpret that as something more special and the first time that I did that was 12 years ago. It was 9PM and I had just left a makeup artist who showed me why so many people had identified me as a woman. I'm intersex, (a DES feminized male) but for many years refused to accept it. I was wearing a short blue casual business dress and I went out into the night and never looked back. Right then and there I stopped hiding and accepted my condition. I figured that if I was going to be identified as a woman, I would be the best woman possible. Presently I usually do get more dressed up about once a week and that's often on Friday or Saturday night. Then I go out and have a grand time and often get home around 1AM. During the rest of the week I'm just me, living as kind of a woman du jour, working and interacting with others. I wear woman's clothes because they fit me the best. I sometimes think that it's strange that currently I don't even consider myself to be unique or different, I'm just another normal person. Thanks for this interesting question. Marg
Hi Monique,
I occasionally have the opportunity to go out and about for a few hours at a time, although not as often as I'd like! Maybe been out about six times over the past nine months.
Terrifying as it always is, each time I go out I seem to have a little more confidence and push myself to do a bit more like go into shops or into busy areas, but still a way to go!
As you say, it can be quite addictive! Probably down to the adrenaline rush.

I try to get out about every other month. When i do its normally for 10 to 14 days. When out, I dress 24/7 every day. It is truly a wonderful experience for me.
I think I've walked or driven away from my house en femme by daylight 7 times now, all since February. I was most definitely immediately hooked, and started pushing the envelope at every opportunity. The 4th and 5th trips didn't just push the boat out, I think I shoved it right over the edge 🙂 This led to my coming out over Easter. Since then I've only managed to walk down to the postbox another twice, but this summer I'll be living as far as possible 24/7 so there will hopefully be lots of activity to come.
I have lived full time as a woman since the fall of 2022. Since the first time I went out in public en femme in May 2022, I estimate I have been out well over 400 times. And yes, I was instantly hooked after the first time.
Due to health problems of late and hot Australian summers every year, I only get to "go public" 2-3 times a year. (I live by the old adage, "Cd'ing is a winter sport" I'm so "mature" its hard to remember the first time, but it would have been back in the early 90's. Either driving around at night in Perth WA or once in the UK, driving from Plymouth down to Cornwall.
Scared stiff but loved every minute of it. Hopefully "back on track", (cos its my back that's giving me grief) later in the year
Happy (outside) dressing
Caty.
I usually dress, a couple of times a month. I always make a point of going out every time I dress (weather permitting). I love a nice walk, a visit to a garden or country park; sometimes I'll drop by the local supermarket for some groceries or if I have plenty of time I'll go on a little shopping trip.
I get outside (shopping, beach walking, just general errands) on average once a week. First time, well every time really, such a nervous excitement every time I get out of the car followed by euphoria as I move about the world as a woman.
I aim to be out in public once a month. So far this year, only twice with a strong possibility in June. Always looking for opportunities that seem to not materialize.
When my neighbors are gone I've gone out to the street and back, I've also gone to the mail box in the wee hours of the morning, about a 1/4 mile. My SO really doesn't want our neighbors to know about Lacy, and I understand, neither do I. But I'm hooked it is going to happen more often than she would like.
My times out in public are pretty random and I have no set pattern, but probably go out every month or three.
...and yes, once you go out it is hard not to.
