Size of the heel is about the last thing to consider. First, make sure the show fits your foot in length and width. Then decide if you can walk like a girl on them. Or do you look like a half back with gravel on there shoes. Break them in for as long as needed around your house before you venture out for the night. Or you will lose some flesh or break something you don’t want to break.
Oh I love trying heels … for me I’ve gone out in heels anywhere from about 3 to almost 5”. As many ladies suggested already, 6” is not for the feint of heart (in full disclosure I just got a pair of 6” to practice in but doubtful I’ll ever walk out in them).
What I’d consider more than the heel height is the heel width. I’ve tried walking in stiletto heels and that’s not easy unless I am on very flat terrain. But I find that having a bit more width in the heel part I can manage most cases.
so as others suggested - definitely break them in first. But if you are new to heels or uncertain a wider heel will be the best place to start. Those 5” heels I have (technically 4.9) are easier to handle because of the wider heel base.
there is a lot of lovely glamour watching a lady walk confidently in heels 💃🏽… but wobbling/falling not so much 🤕
