I don't want to crossdress fulltime, but I wish for the day when I am able to dress however each day.  Whether a dress and heels today or a suit and tie tomorrow, dressing to fit my mood  and freely is my dream.

It's not just crossdressing, I just want to be me, but life puts so many restrictions and expectations on us that even that has become difficult. Take care, Heather.

From the time I was 4 I would wear pantyhose with a shirt when at home. At 17 I got bolder and wore pantyhose out with short women's shorts and not too sexy but leg flattering women's shoes. When I was 18, I had my own place and began dressing fully fem. Every night when I got home and cleaned up I became Patty. I loved it. Except for times when it was not suitable or appropriate I was dressed.

Now years later I'm dressing like that again. If there ever came a time when I never dressed drab again and everyday I could wear silky, pantyhose, sexy heels and pretty hair I would totally love it.

I feel kinda the same as MacKenzie; I do want to crossdress everyday but I long for the day that it isn't a stigma and is just how some people choose to dress.

There so many adjustments that you, and only you can make in your life in order to live femme.  Getting dressed every day when you get out of bed is probably the easiest and smallest task you will find.  Then comes hours of self-acceptance to finally find and reconcile both parts of who you are.  If a spouse, gf, or children are involved in your life, this will certainly complicate things in multiple ways, so now you must convince these people who love you, that you are not who they have always thought you are, but that you are changing.

The next level is bringing siblings, parents and your close friends into your circle.  But you must understand that not everyone will accept what you are telling and showing to them, and they will step away some from you, or leave entirely.  Then will come the greater part of your world, work, play, more distant friends, new friends, doctors and a myriad of people and things you probably haven't thought about.

BUT, and this is a biggie.  Once you have begun facing all of these obstacles, and passed through all of the experiences, for good or bad, having the world accept who you are will become easier, with a few bumps still, but you will have proven to yourself that you can do it.  You will be your own biggest obstacle in finding the life you want to live.

Most of the girls I know who have transitioned and are do so, sometimes look and sound like emotional basket cases.  But once the tears dry up after a good cry, these women are some of the strongest people I have ever met.  It is the trials of their journey that shape them to be strong and know who they are and not be afraid to tell the world exactly who they are and if other's can't accept them this way, then pass on by.  Be strong girls, if this is your goal, then let nothing stop you.  Don't be cruel or spiteful to other's for their opinion, just let them be, and maybe they will get it, eventually.

PS.  Okay, soapbox is stowed for a while again. 🙂

Hi Lilley Thank you for your thoughtful kind words I do not want to cross dress any more. I just want to dress in the way that best fits me. I have grown accustomed to the looks i get they do not seem to bother me anymore. I have a really pretty very feminine dress hanging in my closet that i do try on every one in a while waiting for that day when it looks good enough to wear out for others to see how pretty i feel when i wear it.          Luv Stephanie

I was curious about this as, to my mind, there is a fine line between crossdressing all the time and transitioning. You want to discuss this further?
