Yes, and “society” depends on the country or even area you live in.

We were all conceived female, but roughly 50% of us picked up an extra chromosome.

Gender is a construct – a pigeon-hole into which a huge number of people actually do not fit or even want to fit.

Cross dressing is not actually forbidden in many countries, least of all the UK, not even in the bible, unless you count Deuteronomy, bless him!

It’s a culture shock to many, even after Bowie in the 1960s and the gender benders of the 1980s – 40 years ago…

Time to embrace the future.

And I think this is a more popular thought by the day.
