What’s a clothing bin?
Don’t have those in the UK. But in my early days – decades ago, before I had the confidence to shop, I did use to raid skips at the reclamation centre – over the fence early in the morning and hope to find something wearable. Back then people sometimes dumped bags of clothes in laybys and parking spots, so I always kept an eye out for those. Once I found a bag of about a dozen slips and chemise’s left on a disused railway embankment (possibly a purge?) – it was a real treasure trove, even if some did not really fit me well.
