Mine is a “none of the above” situation. I had a few other ideas for possible girl-names before I settled on Vanessa, but wasn’t really 100% on board with any of them.
Vanessa actually was suggested to me in a comment on one of my really early pictures posted on another site. I kinda liked it but wasn’t 100% sure at first. But a few days later when I was talking about the subject of picking a girl-name for myself and brought up the suggestion to my roommate (well, she was my girlfriend at the time, now ex but still living together) the way her face just lit up had me like “yep, that’s it, that’s the name!” 😅
