Well Grace, we had snow from October to February some years, gosh we had 8ft snow drifts, and spend weeks on toboggan ‘s around the hills. Can remember my father had to dig his way out the front door even. Fantastic white Christmas, with real  fires of logs and  coal, and hours of fun in the snow. The giant snowman stood for months rock solid. Don’t get that now Grace do we.
