Hi Frank,

Do these feelings cause you real distress or make you depressed?

If not then are you sure its true gender dysphoria?

This feeling of femininity may come from hardwired changes to your brain in very early development due to androgen insensitivity – that is: not enough testosterone to completely masculinise your brain. I fully accept that I have a feminised brain and am not dysphoric, whatever the textbook definitions might allege. In other words I am happy with the girl I really am despite my physical appearance.

Participation in CDH may be really beneficial to you as you will come to see that there are many of us with similar feelings to you.  Participation may also lead to you experiencing the “pink fog.”  This may well bring you ease, comfort and understanding.

The “pink fog” is “Gender euphoria” – the opposite  of dysphoria.
