Mmmm… Hampton. I will assume this refers to a place in Virginia not Hampton Court.
Now where have I heard the word Hampton before….. it has certain connotations …..rings a bell…… vague memories of a naughtycal ditty come to mind “With his hampton in his hand he ….” Ahhh yes! I have it now. Hampton wick – cockney rhyming slang for… Well, it’s not a word I would use.
