I’ve always liked to sit, whether I’m in drab or en femme. I’ve done so since I was a young child, I think to feel more like a girl but honestly, I’ve been doing it so long I don’t really remember the reason.
The one thing I do remember is that around the age of 6-7, my parents discovered that I sat and spent ages lecturing me on how, “little boys stand”, at one point they somewhat ‘threatened me’ with the question, “Would like us to call you <feminine version of my male name>?” Even at that young age, I recall being vaguely excited by that idea although I don’t think I had the courage at the time to say, “Actually, yes I really would prefer it.”
