And welcome to CDH. It seems odd that the gay community has a thriving social culture, while the much larger hetero CD group does not. We have a couple of big conferences (halted by COVID) and Tri-Ess, which is in decline and also blocked from activity by COVID. That leaves us with only online activity; but you will find that this site can be very satisfying, and you can make some very good friends here, if you wish.
