I get what you’re saying but comparing a face app to things like make up and wigs is like comparing apples and oranges.  The former is used to change your appearance in a photo and the latter to enhance your appearance period.  A better comparison to using a face app would be taking one of my photos and pasting Marilyn Monroes head on my body.  That would really enhance my appearance. At least from the neck up anyway.
