I usually stick with a nice Sangria or Daiquiri. Way back in the past, there was the Hairy Buffalo punch: equal parts (usually pints) of Rum, JD, Tequila, 100 proof Vodka, and Everclear. Pour all in a large punch bowl, add two large cans of fruit punch, two large cans of ice, slice two whole oranges and lemons, mix in the bowl and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours. Serve after it becomes slushy.
Then there is the Prairie Fire. Mix one shot of JD and one shot of Tequila in a gimlet glass, add 20 drops of Tabasco sauce, and rub the rim of the glass with Tabasco also. Drink in single swallow.
