Actually I thought it was the same in Sweden as well. But after coming out as transgender I have worn only women’s clothing and makeup for several weeks. Of course there are people staring at me, but not at all as much as I thought it would be. When they stare at me I just look back and smile. They turn their away very quickly. Mostly people don’t take any notice of me at all. At first I was scared to death, now I’m doing it with confidence and pride. I have never been interested in male clothing. As a woman I like to be well dressed and to look good.
