I have always had a naturally high pitched voice.
Thought “💡.” That could be be a clue that, under the surface, I am more the female than the male I present as. The masculinisation process, kicked off by the Y chromosome contributed from dad, must have failed to complete when updating my vocal chords!
So, I do find a feminine voice relatively easy for short exchanges. When calling to my dog twopoos, and there are people nearby, I always call her in a femme voice. A male voice from a woman would surely attract attention. And I am staying in character too.
