Good luck Michelle!!  I think you are making the right choice in going back and being yourself.  If, as you said it goes south, you can classify it as a no go zone and move on.

BUT… if it continues to go well, as it did the first time, fantastic!!  Having a place to go as yourself is sinply priceless – and it emboldens you to do it again.
