I tweaked my back moving my turkey around yesterday

?????!  Wow!  Some turkey.   Heading for the oven?  Grappling with it in the yard?  Do tell us please….

But back on topic.

Back in June here in the UK, the weather was dry and warm. So I wore some 3″ heeled sandals when walking my dog 2poos. As the weather was so nice I walked for longer than usual- over two hours  at a time. Silly me.

Result?

Shin splints.  A rather painful inflammatory condition caused by over exercising the shins or wearing the wrong footwear. Runners are prone to it.

It took me 3 months to recover. I could only walk about 100 yards without excruciating pain.

So, girls, don’t take poochie  for long walks on rough ground in heels!
