The first 6 to 8 weeks are a pain as you have to keep the studs in all the time and clean them daily. It’s a little longer before you can wear heavy danglies, but it’s serriously worth the time. It sounds like your wife is more than on board, and willing to allow you to make changes. Discuss it as an idea first to test the water…. My wife suggested I get mine done. We talked about it a few weeks previous, but she didn’t seem that keen, then one Saturday morning, she said “Let’s go into town and get your ears pierced”. As I said, it’s a faff at first, but soooooooo worth it!
