You should be able to trim them without outing yourself. There are eyebrow trimmers that can get rid of the bushy caterpillar and not look feminine. As others have said too, pluck the strays yup that are outside of the brow line.
When I went to see Amy, of Just You, in Vegas she used purple Elmer’s glue to smooth the hairs down and then went over them with a neutralizer. That pretty much made them disappear. Then she added “new” brows with a brush and powder.
I haven’t tried to repeat what she did yet, but I do have all of the products to make the attempt now.
