When I started buying I would make orders from the J.C. Penny’s or Sears catalog, it was so much fun picking out stuff I wanted. When I started buying clothes at the stores I always would buy a birthday card or some kind of card to have on the belt with my clothes, there were times I had so many cards. LOL  When I was married it was easier the holidays were the best if I bought something for my X, I would always pick up stuff for my self.
