I was caught, but didn’t know I was caught for a long time! I had come out to my wife last July, then not long after we agreed I needed to start HRT and transition. At some point, I think my wife asked me to send her a text of one of my selfies (fortunately I picked one that was somewhat tame – giggle). Apparently it was also sent to my daughter, but I had no idea. She knew it was from me, and she did wonder what was going on, but she was waiting for me to say something on my own or if it was a joke or whatever. A few months later, after we agonized over how I should come out to her, she told us about that when I gave “the talk”! It definitely made the reveal a little easier and a little funnier at the same time! I have such a great kid!!
