I have 3 playlists on my phone that I use for “relaxing music”. Basically ballads, soft rock , slow jazz, plus instrumentals with flute and piano. And yes, I still have “heaps” on casestte and the means to play them.
Artists such as Carole King, Linda Rondstadt, Diana Krall, Judith Durham, Roberta Flack etc etc are my go to females. With males (yes I’m an oldie) Tony Bennett, Ronan Keating, Don McLean, etc.
Instrumentals James Galway on flute and almost anything by that the vastly underrated 90’s and early 00″s Canadian singer /songwriter Richard Samuels.OK he’s still around, but not as popular as he once was.
Do any other CDH “Canuks” remember Richard?? I “knew someone” very well, “who knew Richard” and I got to meet him and see him perform
