A guy I know is on Linkedin and he gets all sorts of requests, though on there it’s seems to be more like demands, add so and so, to your network. How it comes up with people I’ve never even heard of. I suppose it’s like that 6′ of separation, someone I know, knows someone, who knows someone else.
But it is all a bit scary.
