Yes, twice and both times were pre-pandemic. Since then, I have not been able to venture out but will as soon as practical.
The first time, I was travelling and managed to pack all of my girl stuff. After scouting potential places to go, I decided to visit a gay bar that was featuring drag queens on weekend nights. Other than feeling woefully “under-dressed in comparison to the queens, I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the evening.
My second time out was in the company of a woman friend who thought it fun to dress as a man. I am fairly sure that no one in the restaurant was fooled, but we had fun anyway.
Can’t wait to dress again and venture out especially if with a few of my CD sisters.
