I try to view it in a more technical perspective vs. a woman/man thing. At the very heart of it, and quite frankly the true facts, I see me as a man doing his best impression of a woman. So, I try to avoid it from looking at myself from that perspective because it’s a given, and true.
So who do I see in the mirror… a person who perhaps put their makeup on awesome that day, a person who tried a new eyeshadow and turned out great, a person who’s jean shorts are shockingly short, a person who has precisely worked on how the clothes hang/fit/placed to create the illusion intended for the evening… and then I walk out the door and leave it to others to perceive that person as a woman (or man) to validate I did a good job with the details.
