It’s taken a long time to get where we’re at with a lot of communication.  There have been ups and downs along the way, much like riding a roller coaster.  Take it one day at a time and have open communication.  Probably the most difficult part for me was knowing when to bring it up and when not to.  I usually waited for her to bring it up until recently when she brought it up and said she is more accepting of my dressing.
