just to add on to this a little bit. i mean this in the most neutral way possible, but i do feel it may be prudent to point out human nature: people notice what they notice and think whatever, or maybe they don’t think anything. But once it’s been brought to attention by being talked about, suddenly people have all sorts of thoughts they simply can’t keep to themselves!!
