hi Julianna, not sure what your qualifications are for affordable or durable, but i have pretty good luck with LA Colors “top coat rapid dry”  (not  “basecoat topcoat” — that one didn’t do as well)

i can also tell you the worst one i ever used was Maybelline “fast gel topcoat”
