If I think it’s necessary, I will crop the pic like Angela and adjust the light like Emily but never change myself in the pic.  Really what’s the point if you are interested in seeing what you really look like to the world.  I worked in professional video for many years and did work with the same big stars that you see advertised on Vegas strip billboards.  And just like Gwyneth mentioned they are all fixed and adjusted in many different ways.  To get the cash they need the flash.   So they really try hard to always look great but in reality they age like all of us but will do anything they can to not let it show.  It’s a great illusion and keeps the money making machine going.  That’s show business but here on CDH we are just trying to learn and celebrate our successes so, the thought of image fakery just doesn’t belong in my pics.  Thank you Holly for another good question.
