Interesting but not surprising to hear that your school discontinued womanless pageants a few years ago. What was once viewed generally as an opportunity for the moms/sisters/girlfriends to showcase their beautification skills, may be viewed more recently as somehow supporting trans youth or simply giving other school boys the notion that it may be natural/OK to explore their feminine sides.
