I don’t own any stilettos. I have an arthritic ankle with about 20% of the normal range of motion, if that much. Absolute maximum difference heel to toe is 2 1/2”, but 2” is much more comfortable. The vast majority of my shoes are 3” to 3 1/2” wedges with a platform of 1” to 1 1/4”.
