Hi Holly

In my opinion yes yes yes things have changed so much for the better.

Yes there are, and always will be Andrew Tates in this world. They are very much in the minority. Their sexist and mysogynistic views and actions are so controversial nowadays that they attract a lot of media attention because their views are so controversial nowadays.
One good thing about the Andrew Tate case I did see in the media. Many schools are using the case to discuss his views and actions with the pupils. Why they are wrong, demeaning to women, not funny.

I have two teenage children, and am privileged to work with many youngsters, and are mostly much more open, kind, empathetic and  respectful than those during my formative years in the last century. Being so interested in what they think about Bianca I have brought the issue into discussions in the staff room. They tell me there is a lot of emphasis in school on being taught to treat others with respect, regardless of appearance, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, physical or mental disabilities, and to be open about their feelings. And here in my little part of Scotland anyway wonderful young open kind adults expressing themselves without hurting others, are in the vast majority. And they will certainly speak up against hatred, racism, homophobia, misogyny etc. My heart sings with optimism for the future when I am in their company.
