Reply To: Being able to thank my mom for her support

It is always nice to hearstories of acceptance, none more so then from our own mothers. I suspect that most of our mothers will/would accept us if we had a frank and honest discussion. It may take some time and education, most of our mothers love us for who we are regardless of our little quirks and eccentricities.

My mother is now past, but I have no doubt she would have been fine with my dressing had I told her. I never did, because I never felt the need. I do remember having discussions about lingerie when I was younger. I wasn’t really dressing at the time, though may have tried her things on before or after such discussions.
